Girls Aloud Supported Britney in 2007

Britney's a huge inspiration to Girls Aloud and Cheryl Cole. It's amazing to know Britney has their support.

Stars RARELY take the time to say this many nice things about Britney, so it's a nice surprise to see what they've said over the years.

News is slow so if you feel like it, watch a video or two about them filming a music video near Britney's house, feeling for her during her dark period (2007), and looking up to her as an artist!

Girls Aloud (late 2007):
Nadine: "there was one picture of her crying at the front of a magazine I couldn’t actually look at the magazine, it was disturbin me it was makin, like you know when you feel so sorry for somebody you cant believe…" Watch

Cheryl (late 2007):
"I’m gonna kidnap her, bring her back home, smuggle her back, send her to the gym, do her hair!
No I am! I’ve got a plot to look after her, be her friend, come on Britney let’s talk!"

Also (in late 2008 interview):
Nicola: "Every starbucks that we passed we were like….is she in there?" (chuckles)

Cheryl: "people like britney, who’ve got, ya know she looks great, she can dance, she sings, its that package thing that makes you go (gasps) I wanna be on the stage with her"

Cheryl Cole On Girls Aloud Future: "like to think we'll all stay in contact"

I think it would be foolish to think that people haven’t thought about what they wanna do after the band because I mean its 4 years down the line now and realistically how long have we got?  Another few year? If that…

From the start we said if anybody’s really unhappy or you know if somone if the band goes really drastically downhill and nobody’s buying the records then we will make a decision to end it, not that somebody leaves or quits, and then start slagging each other off afterwards in autobiographies and all that rubbish.

I’d like to think we’ll all stay in contact and be friends.  There will be no reunions though…

-Cheryl Cole, Off The Record

The reason I posted this is because of all the drama and stories that have been put out there for the band.  This just puts it into a different perspective.

According to The Sun, the 24-year-old 'Untouchable' singer will front a film about women who are addicted to tanning products.

Since Girls Aloud took an extended break after their recent 'Out Of Control' tour, Roberts has launched her own Dainty Doll make-up range for girls with pale skin.

It was recent announced that her bandmate Cheryl Cole is to host a one-off ITV special later this year, which will feature performances from Rihanna and 2008 X Factor winner Alexandra Burke.
