Stars RARELY take the time to say this many nice things about Britney, so it's a nice surprise to see what they've said over the years.

I think it would be foolish to think that people haven’t thought about what they wanna do after the band because I mean its 4 years down the line now and realistically how long have we got? Another few year? If that…

From the start we said if anybody’s really unhappy or you know if somone if the band goes really drastically downhill and nobody’s buying the records then we will make a decision to end it, not that somebody leaves or quits, and then start slagging each other off afterwards in autobiographies and all that rubbish.

I’d like to think we’ll all stay in contact and be friends. There will be no reunions though…

Girls Aloud star Nicola Roberts has reportedly landed her own BBC show.

According to The Sun, the 24-year-old 'Untouchable' singer will front a film about women who are addicted to tanning products.

Since Girls Aloud took an extended break after their recent 'Out Of Control' tour, Roberts has launched her own Dainty Doll make-up range for girls with pale skin.

It was recent announced that her bandmate Cheryl Cole is to host a one-off ITV special later this year, which will feature performances from Rihanna and 2008 X Factor winner Alexandra Burke.

X Factor judge Cheryl Cole will be trying her hand at presenting, after she landed her own primetime ITV show.

The Sun reports that Cheryl will be paid £100,000 for the one off show, which will feature her performing with Black Eyed Peas star Will.i.am.

Rihanna and last year’s X Factor winner Alexandra Burke are also set to appear on Cheryl Cole’s Night In, which will air on Saturday December 19.

Yesterday Cheryl told the newspaper: “I couldn’t be happier ITV asked me to do my own show.”

Between the X Factor, the music career and the L’Oreal ads, is it just us who are feeling all Cheryled out right now?

This should serve as fair warning so next year when people are going on about, "How'd this shrill cockatoo land a record deal?" they can at least recall the moment when hip-hop king Jay-Z agreed to assist her in her bid to break America. Which is a past-time for many British pop artists. Perhaps Cheryl Cole, one-fifth of Britain's biggest girlband Girls Aloud, is more suited for American conquest as a solo performer than with the band which made her a tabloid fixture overseas. To her credit, Cole's already courted goodwill within the hip-hop scene, lending her tinny vocals to a will.i.am single -- who also executive produced her debut record.

And unlike much of her band's material, Cole's solo work decidedly leans more towards a generic urban pop vibe. Which, given the success of acts like the Pussycat Dolls, shouldn't be a terribly tough sell for Jay-Z to make to the American public.

Cole has already admitted to being a fan of both Jay-Z’s and Beyoncé’s work. Furthermore, according to a fruit bat hanging from the rafters or from wherever The Mirror collects their sources, she’s now thrilled that the feeling appears mutual. Cole and Beyoncé had their love-in back-stage just after Beyoncé had finished performing with the woman pegged to succeed Leona Lewis when the world tires of Lewis.

In addition to excellent references, Cole’s resumé also bears the glossy credential of X-Factor judge. Other notes: Her first single “Fight For This Love” became the fastest-selling single of this year, reaching #1 in the UK and selling in excess of 130,000 copies in a day. Girls Aloud band member Kimberley Walsh is the face of New Look’s Autumn-Winter 2009 campaign.

Kimberley follows in the footsteps of other celebs from the world of fashion, film, TV and music including Drew Barrymore, Agyness Deyn, Lily Allen and Alexa Chung.

Key pieces for this Autumn/Winter include “the coatigan” a mix of cardigan and coat, the western shirt and of course the essential mac, whether in black and red oversize dogtooth, electric blue splash print or a classic beige given a twist with rounded collar.

Through her PR company she tweeted a photo showing off her huge sparkling wedding ring. The pic shows the star's hand in front of her face obscuring any expression.

Recent reports claimed that the couple were close to a split after Chezza was spotted without her wedding ring on.

But a message accompanying the photo says: “3 Words. Diamonds Are Forever.”

Chelsea and England defender Ashley cheated on the singer last year but the couple soon reconciled.

Cheryl is currently busy as a judge on X Factor as well as working on her solo career.

A set of jewels worth a staggering £128,000 worn by Girls Aloud star Kimberley Walsh has been stolen in a raid on a courier bike.

Miss Walsh was dripping in diamonds by jewellers de Grisogono at the Cosmopolitan Ultimate Women of the Year Awards last week, which she teamed with a flowing white gown by Jenny Packham.

The 27-year-old singer was given the award for Ultimate Woman’s Woman at the ceremony last Wednesday and had borrowed earrings, a cuff and a ring for the evening.

She had donned long, white gold pendant earrings from the Gacce collection, worth £19,326. The earrings are set with 589 grey diamonds of nearly 25 carats, with 26 white diamonds of 1 carat, and two white diamonds of 0.25 carat.

Miss Walsh had also borrowed a coral and diamond ring, priced at £38,447, alongside a gold cuff bracelet, worth more than £70,000.

However, police are now investigating after the jewels were stolen from a courier bike that was returning them to de Grisogono’s shop in New Bond Street in London.

The courier, from company Courier Systems, had left the London offices of the band’s management company, Shaw Thing, and was on his way to the West End when he stopped at a petrol station, where the hatch on his bike was raided.

Miss Walsh spoke of her joy at the awards, saying: 'It’s enlightening for me to think "oh is that how people see me?"

'It’s amazing, I’m really, really flattered.'

A source close to the band confirmed the theft, saying: 'Kimberley wore the jewellery for the awards, and it was being sent back from the management company when it was stolen.

'The crime is being investigated by the police. Obviously, the set was worth £128,000, so it’s being taken extremely seriously. It’s a shame that this was the end to a fantastic evening for Kimberley.'

A de Grisogono spokeswoman refused to comment, while a Metropolitan police spokesman said: 'We can confirm officers from Barnet CID are investigating the theft of two parcels.

'They went missing whilst in transit from properties in north London to properties in central London.

'One parcel contained a quantity of jewellery; the other, some paperwork.

"The theft was reported to us on Thursday 12 November.

'Enquiries continue and no arrests have been made.'

In a rare public appearance together, Cheryl Cole and her husband Ashley ventured out for a Saturday night in Londontown, but ended up exactly where they often do - in a fight!

After Cheryl's performance at the Children In Need concert, the two hit up the Mayfair Hotel joined by Girls Aloud bandmate Nicola Roberts and her boyfriend.

"They were all sat around the table having a really good time. They were drinking and appeared really relaxed as they laughed and joked," said an onlooker.

But, it didn't last long! The two could barely crack a smile as they left the hotel the following morning!

Since Ashley's infidelity two years ago, the couple has not been the same. Supposedly, Cheryl has not been able to get past it and rightfully so!

"They still have the occasional moment of fun but they both know, particularly Cheryl, that this isn't going to be forever," claims a friend. "The pattern of their relationship seems to be that she achieves something and she spends the next three or four days massaging his ego and building him up again. Supporting Cheryl doesn't sit well with Ashley's need to be alpha male."

Cheryl Cole will release a song written by Adele as the B-side to her next single '3 Words'.

The title track from the X Factor judge's debut album, a collaboration with Black Eyed Peas frontman will.i.am, will be made available on January 11.

The flipside to the single will feature the Adele-penned 'Boys'.

Cole's solo LP has already gone platinum in the UK, selling more than 300,000 copies in its first two weeks on release.

A British man has threatened Cheryl Cole to pay him millions of pounds or he would continue to shame her with a porn X-rated website, it has emerged.

The 55-year-old Martin McCann owns the rights of cherylcole.cc, a site through which he has already started embarrassing the X Factor judge.

The webpage shows pics of the 26-year-old Cole next to the words “3 Words: Sex Sex Sex”.

And McCann has no plans to relent.

He plans to post loads of nude photos on the site or sell the to a porn firm unless Cole buys the site herself.

“If Cheryl wants it she can have it but only for the right money,” the Daily Star quoted McCann, as saying.

The India-based McCann, originally from Harrow, Middlesex, had tried his luck with David Beckham last year, when he had demanded 5million pounds to stop making condom’s named after the footie’s three sons.

The Northern Irish rockers duetted with the Girls Aloud star at the Children In Need show, and frontman Gary Lightbody said he now fancies doing a version of her No 1 single.

"We've spoken about doing more covers, maybe reworking Cheryl's Fight For This Love - I love pop music, some of it is life-affirming," he told The Sun.

Snapped leaving the Mayfair Hotel on Friday (just what do all those A-listers and Mel B do in there all day?), Nicola's still working the eighties rocker look with an asymmetric floral dress, sheer tights (they're back again) and a leather biker jacket.
What we love about Nicola is that she always gets the details right(except when she gets them wrong): the zips on the jacket, the length of her dress and even the slight rockabilly quiff make for a consistent and stylish look. After the furore that surrounded her David Koma dress a few weeks ago, X Factor judge Cheryl Cole is certainly choosing more conventional dresses for her Saturday and Sunday night attire.
Last night she rocked a navy blue draped sequins mini dress from Alexander Wang, with the price tag of a mere £710. Cheryl wore a slightly similar full length navy gown by Matthew Williamson, on the fourth show of last year’s series and we loved the colour on her then also.

This has definitely been our favourite Cheryl outfit so far but that could all change after tonight’s show airs.

Cheryl, 26, raked in an estimated £6.9MILLION through TV and sponsorship deals and her fledgling solo career.

That's edged her ahead of veteran Wag Victoria Beckham who made £6.75 MILLION over the past two years.

A source said: "It's the end of Posh Spice's reign. Queen Victoria is on her way out. And there's a new princess ready to take her crown."

Cheryl's fortune has more than DOUBLED with a string of deals, topped by her role as a judge on X Factor which netted her £1.75million in two years. Girls Aloud: 'The group is our priority'

Girls Aloud have revealed that continuing as a group is their first priority as they each focus on their own projects.

The 'Untouchable' band, who have released five studio albums since winning Popstars: The Rivals in 2002, admitted that they are proud of all they have achieved.

"We've managed to stand the test of time, we've been around for nearly seven years now and we're really proud of what we've achieved as a group," Kimberley Walsh told The Mirror.

"That will always be where we all started, where we all came from and it's something that we're all very proud of. That's kind of all of our first priorities.

"The fact that we're in a position where we can each go and explore different things that we want to do is brilliant because nobody feels trapped.

"Everybody can go and explore different things that they want to do and still come back to the group. It's almost like we've got the best of everything at the moment."

Walsh recently revealed that the band are hoping to start work on their sixth studio album next summer.

Winners included X Factor stars Dannii Minogue, who was the Ultimate TV Personality of the Year and Holly Willoughby, who was named Ultimate TV Presenter.

Ex-EastEnders star Brooke Kinsella was honoured as the Ultimate Celeb Who Made Us Care for her campaigning against knife crime, following the death of her brother Ben.

And Gavin And Stacey star Ruth Jones was named Ultimate Funny Woman.

Cheryl Cole will perform with Snow Patrol for Children In Need Gig

X Factor judge Cheryl Cole will perform with Snow Patrol at the Children In Need charity event in London tomorrow night.

The Girls Aloud star is expected to sing Snow Patrol’s hit ‘Set The Fire To The Third Bar’ with Gary Lightbody at the gig organised by Gary Barlow.

“Everyone doing the gig has to duet with someone. It was like getting a partner at school, and we got the prettiest girl in the class,” Lightbody told Spinner.

“People have raised an eyebrow now and again when we’ve mentioned we’re doing it with Cheryl Cole but I think it’s going to be a really interesting experience,” he added.

“She said, ‘What song do you want to do?’ and we said that, and she went away and listened to it. She got back straight away and said, ‘Yeah, I’m up for it’. Hats off to her.”

Week after week X Factors viewers are bowled over by her array of glamorous outfits.

But last night Cheryl Cole made a rare departure from her usually polished-to-perfection appearance as she took a day off from playing the style queen.

The singer slipped into a pair of jeans, a chequered shirt , gilet jacket and cap - presumably a more comfortable ensemble than her high heels and fitted dresses.

But perhaps the most notable addition to her look was her £160,000 wedding ring.

Cheryl Cole did away with the glamour last night as she left Maida Vale Studios in London and (R) looking polished on the X Factor on Sunday.

But she had wedding ring back on

The 26-year-old singer set tongues wagging at the weekend after appearing on the X Factor - minus her diamond sparkler - on both Saturday and Sunday night.

So husband Ashley Cole will probably be relieved to see her with her rock firmly back in place.

The Girls Aloud star was spotted last night leaving the BBC Maida Vale Studios in west London.

She was there rehearsing for her contribution to Children In Need concert, which is being put together by Gary Barlow and will take place at the Royal Albert Hall in London tonight.
